The databases include indices to selected Parish registers being developed by staff of Dublin City Public Libraries. Access on this site is provided to only a portion of each entry held. The complete entries can be accessed in the Dublin City Library & Archive, Pearse Street, Dublin. Researchers are further directed to check records in the original source documents held by the relevant Church Authorities.

Dublin City Archives contains records of the civic government of Dublin from 1171 to the late 20th century. These include records of Dublin City Council, Dublin Private Collections, The Irish Theatre Archive, the Royal Dublin Fusiliers Association Archive and Dublin Archaeolgical Archive.
